Classic registration: When registering with a username and password, we only store your chosen username and a hashed password. Name and email are not required.
Sign-in via external providers: You may optionally sign in with Google or Apple. Different data may be transmitted and stored depending on the provider (see section “Sign-in via external providers”).
Profile data: You may optionally provide age, gender, height, and weight to improve blood alcohol estimates. This data is stored on our servers while your account exists.
Technical data: When using the web app, technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information may be processed (e.g. via Firebase, reCAPTCHA, or map services).
We do not share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
You may optionally sign in using an external account instead of creating a username and password. On first sign-in, we create a user account for you.
Google: We receive a unique user ID (Google ID), your email address, and possibly your name and profile picture. Your email is stored in our database. Initially, your username is set to your email address; you will be asked to choose a display name.

Apple: We receive a unique user ID (Apple ID) and possibly your email address (including “Hide My Email” relay addresses) and, on first sign-in, possibly your name. Your email is stored if provided by Apple.

For all social sign-ins, a random internal password is set that you do not know. You may later set your own password in settings to also sign in classically.
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance or pre-contractual measures).
The displayed estimations are for orientation only. They are based on general approximations and do not replace medical or legal evaluation. We assume no liability for accuracy or use of the displayed estimations.
When confirming a friendship in the app, you agree to share certain information with your friends:

You can manage sharing permissions for each friend individually in the settings.
When you join a local party at a venue using a party code, you voluntarily participate in a shared party mode. Your profile data (gender, age, height, weight) is stored as a guest snapshot for the duration of the party and used to calculate estimated blood alcohol levels.

The venue operator or party host can also view the same information in guest management (including BMI data and BAC values).
Display is updated in real time via our servers (WebSocket). If you do not want this visibility, do not join a local party. You can leave the party at any time in the app; drinks and party data already recorded remain stored for the running party and its evaluation.
You can upload profile pictures and counter photos:
Profile Picture: Publicly visible to other users when they search for your username or when you participate in a local party (ranking and venue display).
Counter Picture: Visible only to you as a background decoration within your account. Requires a one-time in-app purchase.
You can delete all uploaded pictures at any time.
We use Google Maps (API) to display locations. Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC. Your IP address may be transmitted and stored on Google servers.

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect registration from abuse. A background check determines whether input is made by a human. Cookies and technical data (e.g. IP address, usage behavior) may be transmitted to Google.

We use Google Firebase for hosting, error tracking (Crashlytics), data storage, and push notifications. Technical data may be processed, e.g. device information, usage behavior, and crash reports.

On Android and iOS, voluntary purchases via Google Play or the Apple App Store may be possible (e.g. to support development or for in-app content). Google's and Apple's privacy policies apply.
Future versions may display ads – never in the main screen or BAC display. Ads will be clearly marked and placed outside the core functions.
Our site and web app use SSL encryption (https) to prevent data from being read by third parties.
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, or restrict processing of your stored data, as well as data portability and objection where provided by law.
To exercise your rights, contact us at the address above. For classic registration without email, identification is possible via your username; for social sign-in also via stored email where applicable.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
You can delete your account at any time. All related data, images, settings, and content will be permanently deleted.
Note: In-app purchases (e.g., background images) cannot be refunded after account deletion.
